Latrouvaille translates from French to: The Find

When I retired from the high school classroom, I felt a creative void after 34 years of teenagers keeping me on my toes. As well, after inheriting from parents, in-laws, and 4 children moving out, I considered a vintage shop as a way of downsizing my own home. I already had another Etsy shop (meoneil.etsy.com) and I hoped that linking the two would help. I caught the bug of searching for treasures to share with customers, and being fortunate enough to have taken numerous trips to Asia (after 2 of my children moved to Vietnam and China), many of my finds originated there.
"Latrouvaille" is French for "a find", and living in Quebec, though Anglophone, the name seemed appropriate.
